Running through each and every SMC undertaking are four common
threads, and they are what makes us an uncommon multimedia firm. As
varied as our projects are, each adheres to standards which we believe are responsible
for our success:
Uncommon
Threads
1.   Clearly defined deliverables that fully meet client expectations
You will be happy at the end because we find out what will make you happy at the
beginning. Starting with our Agreement for Services, followed by our internal
Design Document and Implementation Guide, you'll feel comfortable that
we accurately share your vision and completely understand your expectations.
2.   Top-notch graphics, audio and video, and error-free programming
Each digital element is carefully crafted to stand up on its own. Our artwork
and animation is compelling, functional and versatile, and our hi-fidelity audio
processing and broadcast-quality video production bring projects to life. Furthermore,
there will be no bugs, typos, error messages, or buttons that lead nowhere. We
employ a structured production process that stresses attention-to-details, including
a thorough testing and review stage that rejects anything that does not meet Design
Document specifications and SMC standards.
3.   Active role sharing and client empowerment
Why pay for what you are willing and capable of doing yourself? If all you need
is guidance, so be it. Perhaps you have an art department that can create graphics
to specifications. Maybe you would like your organization to gain the skills and
knowledge to perform regular updates and maintenance. Or this time you want us
to do it all, from concept to completion. SMC will assemble your multimedia project
accordingly, potentially lessening your cost and increasing your control. Furthermore,
clients generally retain full ownership of graphics, programming and other elements
created for their projects.
4.   A fair and fixed cost for services
Following our Pre-planning survey we submit to you a fixed quote for the project.
Most multimedia firms only quote hourly rates, start the clock and keep it running,
then send you the bill. Although we do base our quotes on hourly rates, there
are no overruns, hidden costs or excessive hourly rates. If your plans change
during the project, the cost will again be quoted at a fixed amount.
        We enjoy talking
about our multimedia capabilities and are always happy to consult with you. Please
feel free to contact
us with any questions at all! |
